Jan. 25, 2016 NOW is the time to dig out your neighborhood fire hydrant. In the event of a fire, you do not want firefighters looking for the hydrant and taking the time to dig it out. It is really not that hard. Do it the way I did it. I made hot chocolate while Caroline went and shoveled it out. I paid her with chocolate.
