Robert Spencer Pease, 85, formerly of Westminster, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Born October 17, 1929 in Minerva, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ruby Muriel Witherspoon and Spencer Thomas Pease. He was the former husband of the late Wanda Spring Pease.

He owned and operated Bobby’s Hobby Lobby, a Westminster fixture for over 40 years. He was a member of Kiwanis, the Academy of Model Aeronautics, the Experimental Aircraft Association, the Randallstown Wright Flyers, and the Deland Golden Hawks; and founder and member of the Westminster Aero Modelers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed sharing his love of aviation and hobbies of all kinds.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Roberta and Brian Kasik of Randallstown, daughter Beverly Pease of Germantown, and son Christopher Pease of Davenport, FL.

He was predeceased by sisters Muriel Beth Adkison and Linda Gail Pease Cannon, and a brother Richard Thomas Pease.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 11:00 A.M., with visitation from 10-11 A.M. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster with Rev. Marshall Green officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, September 11 from 6-8 P.M. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cousteau Society, Greeley Square Station, 4 East 27th Street, PO Box 20321, New York, NY 10001, or the Academy of Model Aeronautics, 5161 E Memorial Dr., Muncie, IN 47302.
