During Tuesday's final debate in the race to be Florida governor, Republican Gov. Rick Scott declared his administration "spent $350 million to deal with sea-level rise down in the Keys."

That came as news to most in the Florida Keys.

Two years and about two weeks into the $41.5 million reconstruction of North Roosevelt Boulevard in Key West, the end is in sight.

These guys from North Carolina fished with Island Lure Charters last Tuesday, catching Jeff's biggest fish ever, a 20-pound king, and large cero mackerel. They had so much fun they fished again later in the week and beat his Tuesday catch with 39- and 40-pound kings.
