Welcome to Maryland weather. It was only a week ago when we were toughing it out under almost two feet of snow.

All last week, news accounts trickled-in from throughout the state of various local governments having a tough time clearing the snow for Christmas week.

Not so in Westminster. On Sunday, December 20, 2009, Uniontown Road in Westminster was already a bare road less than 12 hours after the snow stopped; thanks to the great work of the Westminster MD Street Department. And our front sidewalk has been cleared thanks to our new neighbors across the street.
