Applesauce Day at Willis Street Aug. 11, 2008
Making applesauce is a time-honored family tradition in the Babylon-Fluck-
Koehler-Schmitt-Sigafoos-Yocum household.
Today, Caroline, Melissa, Marian, and James are hard at work
making applesauce as the family has done for many generations.
It is not known as to whether the tradition was brought over
from Germany in the 1700s, but it seems the Babylon-Fluck-
Koehler-Schmitt-Sigafoos-Yocum family has been making applesauce every August
since time began.
Being the creatures of habit and tradition, it just so
happens that eight-years ago, on this very day, Grammy, Melissa, Marian, and
Caroline, were making applesauce.
