On Thursday evening, April 26, 2018, the Westminster Fire
Engine and Hose Co. 1 responded to a reported “plane crash” at the Carroll County
Md. Regional Airport.
At 8:21 p.m., the emergency communications center was
alerted to a “small plane crash.” Multiple units from Westminster responded.
Upon arrival, they located a small plane off of the runway
and occupants were out of the plane. There were no reported injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Maryland
State Police.
