Slain Davis police officer Natalie Corona

Slain Davis police officer Natalie Corona

Wow – so sad: “… but authorities say Limbaugh walked up to a traffic accident that Corona was called to and started shooting at her patrol car, a fire truck and a minivan…”

I guess this reinforces our training about safety perimeters. According to ODMP: “As Officer Corona was conducting an investigation at the collision scene a person not involved with the crashed rode up to the scene on a bicycle. As Officer Corona spoke to one of the persons involved in the crash the man then walked up to her and opened fire without warning, striking her. He shot her several more times after she fell to the ground before shooting randomly at others bystanders and vehicles…”

Westminster Vol. Fire Dept. Treasurer Caroline Babylon leads a number of children in a 'stop, drop, and roll' demonstration

Westminster Vol. Fire Dept. Treasurer Caroline Babylon leads a number of children in a 'stop, drop, and roll' demonstration for the safety and fire prevention program at the Third Annual KIDZPO at Grace Lutheran Church Sat March 25, 2017 21 Carroll St Westminster MD.

Westminster Police Auxiliary members Ken Carlisle and Larry Myers, and WFD Chaplain Kevin Dayhoff assisted, but did not demonstrate the dropping and rolling portion of the demonstration. Just saying. But I am betting that the WFD Secretary and Fire Prevention Chair Jamie Petry or WFD Fundraising Chair Brenda Roper would have demonstrated the drop and roll well.

Mom watches it every day out of respect to Uncle Wilbur, who volunteered for The Westminster Vol. Fire Dept. for perhaps 60 years. I am trying to figure out which character is playing Guy... Dayhoff said firefighters found moderate smoke and extinguished a fire in the first apartment at 6:29 p.m. Units from Pleasant Valley; New Windsor and Baltimore County fire departments as well as the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Westminster Police Department assisted.

According to Dayhoff, the fire remains under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office.
