WBAL Programing Alert: Maryland's News NOW
WBAL is pleased to announce that Mary Beth Marsden an Emmy Award Winning Broadcaster is joining 1090AM/WBAL Radio as the anchor for a new take on afternoon news - Maryland’s News Now!

Maryland’s News Now will hit the 1090 AM WBAL airwaves starting today, and come to you every weekday from 3pm to 6pm. Sure, the work day is just about over, but the news cycle continues. Maryland’s News Now fills you in on all the items in the news that are important to you including Traffic and Weather together on the 5’s.

And bringing you Maryland’s News Now will be the newest edition to the WBAL team: Mary Beth Marsden. “Mary Beth has been a respected journalist in the market for over 20 years. Her news judgment and her genuine commitment to her audience makes Mary Beth a great fit for WBAL”, says Station News Director, Merrie Street.

Marsden has been covering Baltimore-area news for the past 22 years. Most recently, she anchored the evening newscasts for WMAR-TV. Before WMAR, her career included positions at WJLA-TV in Washington, DC, WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, VA, and WNEP-TV in Scranton, PA.

Marsden lives in Baltimore County with her husband and three children. Mary Beth’s passion is autism. She hopes to educate a mass audience about what makes autism special and why we should care about the individuals who are all around us. For more information go to www.reallookautism.com.
