Former governor back on the stump

Four years after his only political loss, the Republican former governor has decided to rejoin the political fray, challenging his political nemesis, Gov. Martin O'Malley.
He announced his intention to run April 7 at a rally in his boyhood home of Arbutus. Since then, he has criss-crossed the state, most recently speaking at a GOP spring convention in Ocean City.
Just an election cycle ago, Ehrlich was telling listeners of his newly christened radio show that Maryland had changed.

Perhaps what is most troubling about a Congressional majority as heavy to one side of the political spectrum as it is now, is the fact that it enables—and apparently tempts—that majority to put power preservation ahead of service to the American people. No doubt, having far-left liberals in the White House and the two top seats in Congress had everything to do with the passage of a healthcare bill against the expressed will of the people this past March. And, as a result, those same liberals now know the clock is ticking on their majority, because voters are eager to express their discontent in November.
