Former University of Virginia lacrosse player is found guilty of second-degree murder in the May 2010 death of his sometime girlfriend, Yeardley Love. Both were students at the university and accomplished lacrosse players.

The first day of Baltimore Orioles’ spring training began Sunday when the pitchers and catchers reported for the annual ritual in Sarasota, Florida.
