The latest of the clumsy error messages folks get on their computers is one that reads: “Sorry, Backup and Sync needs to quit.” http://kevindayhoff.blogspot.com/2017/03/the-latest-of-clumsy-error-messages.html

The latest of the all-too-frequent clumsy error messages folks
get on their computers from Microsoft, Google, Adobe, et al, is one that reads:
“Sorry, Backup and Sync needs to quit.” 7:30 p.m. EST 16Mar2017
LOL – What the What. Curious, I did search on “Sorry, Backup
and Sync needs to quit,” and tech writer, Corbin Davenport, writing for the
website, Android Police,” seems to have just unraveled the mystery, minutes ago…
http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/03/16/google-drive-windows-self-updating-backup-sync-breaking-process/
“Did you think
Google's intentional
downgrade OTA for the Nexus 6 from yesterday was bad? Google appears to be
on a mission to break as many products as possible, and next up is the Google
Drive client for Windows.
“If you've ever used
Google Drive (or similar cloud services), you'll know that there is a Windows
client that syncs all your Drive files locally to your computer. It hasn't
received much attention over the years, and is rather buggy. As for the good news - Google seems to be
working on an updated version. The bad news is that an unfinished and broken
build is being pushed live.”
I will add, that to say that it is “rather buggy,” is an
understatement.
Anyway, read much more here. Mr. Davenport explains it well.
Thank you.

Just like our friends Jason and Laura, it appears that "Jason's Deli" (is a business) that understands that it has a social contract...
"About Jason's Deli: Who We Are: Jason's Deli stands for three simple concepts: PEOPLE, FOOD and CHOICE.
We were founded in 1976 by Joe Tortorice, Jr. who believes in treating employees as family and backs it up by making remarkable investments in our people.
We have a Leadership Institute that offers free classes in money matters, ethics, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and in the core values of our brand.
Joe also started a program called The Fishing School in order to empower hourly employees to better themselves professionally by becoming managers and leaders. In addition, Jason's has a non-profit foundation to help our employees when in crisis.
Mason’s Tried and True Southern Provisions

Sunday church at First Lutheran Nashville TN http://www.first-lutheran-nashville.org/ 113 Eighth Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203 Good morning. I hope you are having a great day. My message this Sunday is that I love all God's children, whatever their age, the color of their skin, the contents of their wallet, no matter whom they love, no matter what their faith, or how they worship – or not worship, where they were born, what they do for a living – or not do, how they speak, and whatever their abilities or disabilities; for we are all God's children, and in the end, we all are reconciled to God. Just saying. Sunday, March 12, 2017

Annual Women's Club of Westminster Dr. Seuss read across Carroll County March 6, 2017 / Kevin Dayhoff
William Winchester Elementary School Westminster Md
- I had a cup of coffee with some fantastic local community leaders this morning as we waited to be assigned to our rooms by Beverly Jane Humbert of the Women' Club of Westminster, and the staff of William Winchester Elementary School; to read Dr. Seuss books.
From left to right, Lynn Wheeler, the exe. dir. of the Carroll County Public Library, Steve Guthrie, superintendent of Carroll County Public Schools, longstanding Westminster council member and former Westminster common council president Dr. Bob Wack, local business owner and artist, Lyndi McNulty, and Kevin Dayhoff. Monday morning, March 6, 2017 at William Winchester Elementary School, on the old Albaugh and Babylon Farm in Westminster.
The GFWC Woman's Club of Westminster, along with other civic organizations, community leaders and businesses, annually promote literacy and encourage reading in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday.
According to Jackie Hering, education department chairperson of the Woman's Club of Westminster, and chair of the event, "It's wonderful to see the children's faces light up when you sit down to read to them."
