woman has been found dead in the snow in Hampstead 
A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office, Corporal Jon Light reports:

UPDATE - January 25, 2016 ---- The person found deceased in
Hampstead yesterday has been identified:
Amy Schuerholz Metz, 43
Resides in the 800 block of Wellesley Court

Hampstead, Carroll County, Maryland; January 24th, 2016
------ In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 24th, 2016, the Carroll
County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of the 800 block of Wellesley
Court in Hampstead for the report of an adult female found lying in the
roadway. Upon arrival, they discovered that the person was deceased.
The circumstances surrounding this death investigation are
currently under investigation. The subject has been transported to the Medical
Examiners Office in Baltimore for an autopsy. The identity of the subject is
being withheld pending notification to family members. No other information is
being released at this time.
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to
contact Detective Harbaugh at 410-386-5900 or the Anonymous TIPS Hotline at
1-888-399-TIPP.
