I am tired of the talk about withdrawing from the Iraq War that associates withdrawal with failure to support the troops. The concepts are not synonymous! It would be possible to withdraw and support at the same time.

But hopefully you will take time out today to remember the greater meaning of Memorial Day - especially at a time when our great nation has more than 253,000 men and women in uniform deployed away from their families and loved ones - in nearly 80 countries oversees.
