Crowther wins JFK; women’s record set

WILLIAMSPORT — Greg Crowther of Seattle, won the 47th annual JFK 50 Mile on Saturday, while Devon Crosby-Helm of Sausalito, Calif., set a women’s course record.
Crowther, 36, completed America’s oldest ultramarathon in a time of 5 hours, 50 minutes and 13 seconds, the second fastest time in event history.

Devon Crosby-Helm, 27, set the women’s record with a time of 6:29:21.
Andy Mason, of Hagerstown, was the first Washington County finisher with a personal best time of 6:34:30. Mason finished 13th overall, 12th among men.
