Sat. morning, October 10, 2015 Water main break in Westminster Maryland

At approximately 7:00 a.m. this morning the City of Westminster experienced a water main break in the area of Route 27 and Hahn Road.

This break resulted in a temporary drop in water pressure in City's water system.  Water pressure has since been restored to all but the residences and businesses in the immediate area of the break that are currently without water as repairs are being made.

Town Mall has not been affected. Other areas of the system may experience water discoloration for the duration of the day, but the water is safe to drink.
