According to information from the Carroll County Farmers
Market, on Saturday, November 19th, the Carroll County Farmers Market is
holding an Open House Celebration.
There will be free refreshments and a vendor discount coupon
giveaway. The seasonal Christmas Market and Hand Made Crafts Show will run
Saturdays only 8:00 am – 2:00 pm thru December 17th. Each week there will be 75-100 vendors
selling a wide variety of handmade and home produced goods. Don’t forget to
place your Thanksgiving orders with your favorite vendors.
There will be vendors selling beef, pork and lamb. There
will also be local fresh eggs, cheese, wine, nuts, honey, jams and jellies.
Winter produce that may be available this week is kale, broccoli, cauliflower,
potatoes, and sweet potatoes.
Fresh evergreens, wreaths and arrangements can be found for
the holidays as well as seasonal plants. Home baked goods and other gourmet
foods are also available: pies, cakes, cookies, scones, breads, dip mixes and
candy.
Customers will find crafts and fine arts such as jewelry,
pottery, wood crafts, photography, baby items, soaps, skin care items, fabric
items and more.
This week acoustic entertainment will be provided by Scott
Barrett. Proceeds will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank. Different artists
are featured each week.
Breakfast and lunch will be served. Pancake breakfast and
egg sandwiches are popular breakfast items. Homemade slices of pie and cake
make great desserts.
Admission and parking are free.
We are handicap accessible.
Busses are welcome.
