#SavingLives #Training The training never stops. Caroline and I are taking a recertification class for CPR, AED, and first aid along with the instructors and volunteers with the 4-H Therapeutic Riding Program of Carroll County; in the training room at the Westminster Fire Engine and Hose Co. No. 1.
As a group, we have been taking this class together for about 20-years. We have 15 in the class. Westminster Fire Company firefighter and EMS provider Ed Burrell is the instructor.
This is the first time we have taken the class at the fire company. The Westminster fire company has recently begun an initiative to provide various emergency response classes. Having a working EMS provider is a great advantage because the instructor can provide real-life experience insights for the class. February 18, 2019 Monday.
