Westminster resident dies from injuries received from an accident at home.
Westminster, MD - It is being reported that Westminster resident Scott Jeznach has passed away from injuries he received when he was injured while working on his vehicle at home and was flown to Shock Trauma in serious condition on May 21, 2010.
Jeznach is well known in the community as a member of the Westminster Volunteer Fire Department and from 1997 to 2008 he served as the code enforcement officer for the city of Westminster.
He was a former member of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division and 7th Special Forces Group. He received multiple commendations associated with his 13-year military career which included participation in the Invasion of Panama - Operation Just Cause and the First Gulf War - Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Velazquez-Jeznach
