Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich, the two-time presidential candidate
and icon of the antiwar left, suffered a potentially career-ending defeat
Tuesday as he lost the Democratic primary to a veteran incumbent. A GOP-drawn
congressional map pitted Kucinich against Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio), who won
the nomination.
